By selecting Cash on Delivery (COD) as your payment method during checkout on Trendify, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all orders placed using the COD payment option and are legally binding upon the buyer and the company.

1. Advance Payment Requirement

To confirm and process your COD order, an advance payment is mandatory. This helps prevent fraudulent or non-genuine orders and allows us to initiate shipping.

Advance payment requirements are as follows:

• Orders between ₹1,000 and ₹9,999: ₹59 advance payment required
  
• Orders between ₹10,000 and ₹19,999: 15% of the total order value required in advance
  

The advance payment must be successfully completed before the order is processed and dispatched. Failure to make the advance payment may result in order cancellation without prior notice.

2. Payment of Remaining Balance

The remaining balance (total order value minus advance amount) must be paid in full at the time of delivery to the courier partner.

Payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) via:

• Cash
  
• Or any other payment method accepted by the courier partner
  

3. Non-Acceptance of Delivery

If the buyer refuses to accept the delivery for any reason:

• The advance amount paid will not be refunded
  
• The advance will be retained to cover expenses including:
  
  
  Courier and shipping charges
  
  
  Packaging and handling costs
  
  
  Logistics and manpower expenses
  
  
  Administrative and penalty charges
  
  
  

Repeated refusal of COD deliveries may result in:

• Blacklisting from future COD purchases
  
• Restriction or suspension of account access
  

4. Return to Origin (RTO) & Failed Delivery

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to:

• Incorrect or incomplete address
  
• Customer unavailability
  
• Refusal to accept delivery
  
• Failure to pay the remaining COD balance
  

The shipment will be treated as Return to Origin (RTO).

In such cases:

• The advance payment will be forfeited
  
• It will be used to cover round-trip courier charges (forward + return shipping), handling, and administrative costs
  

Trendify reserves the right to suspend accounts in case of repeated RTO incidents.

5. Order Cancellation

COD orders can only be canceled before dispatch.

Once the order has been shipped:

• Cancellation is not permitted
  
• Refusal upon delivery will be treated under the Non-Acceptance of Delivery and RTO clauses
  
• The advance amount will be forfeited
  

6. Address Accuracy

The buyer is solely responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping details at checkout.

Trendify shall not be liable for:

• Delivery delays
  
• Non-delivery
  
• Additional costs arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details
  

7. Delivery Delays & Courier Issues

Once the order is handed over to the courier partner, delivery timelines are beyond our direct control.

Delays caused by:

• Courier network issues
  
• Remote location access
  
• Weather conditions
  
• Strikes
  
• Force majeure events
  

Do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or compensation.

8. To-Pay (ODA) Charges

For shipments to Out-of-Delivery-Area (ODA) or remote locations, courier companies may apply additional doorstep delivery charges (for example: ₹600 for special vehicle delivery).

Since these charges cannot always be calculated in advance:

• They will be collected directly by the courier partner at the time of delivery
  
• Refusal to pay such charges may result in shipment return
  
• The advance amount will be forfeited in such cases
  

09. Fraud Prevention & Misuse

Trendify reserves the right to:

• Reject
  
• Cancel
  
• Block
  

Any COD order suspected of fraud, misuse, or non-genuine activity.

Legal action may be pursued under applicable Indian laws in cases of COD abuse or fraudulent conduct.

10. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

All disputes, claims, or legal matters relating to COD orders shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

No other jurisdiction shall apply, irrespective of the buyer’s location.

Acknowledgment

By choosing Cash on Delivery at checkout, you:

• Confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this COD policy.
  
• Acknowledge that the advance payment is non-refundable under the stated conditions
  
• Accept full responsibility for paying the remaining balance at the time of delivery
